Dear Mr. Palmer and the 8th grade class:

We hope you enjoyed your Thanksgiving this year.  Thanks to you, 500+ families received food baskets and were able to enjoy a love filled Thanksgiving dinner with their families.  Thank you so much for giving your time and hard work.

Please keep in mind that you are remembered in our prayers during the Masses held on the last Thursday of every month at St. Charles Parish.

May our Lady protect you and may God bless you, your school, and your families.  We look forward to seeing you next year.

In the Love of Jesus and Mary,

Testimonials

As a proud parent of two children who have attended Bishop McVinney Regional School since pre-k, I would like to say how grateful I am to the staff and teachers for providing my children with a quality Catholic education. The spiritual and academic life of the school has had such a great influence upon my children.  Our family loves the school and Bishop McVinney Regional School will always be dear to us.

Today is a very special day for me as it is my graduation day. Bishop McVinney has been my second home and everyone here has been like a second family to me.  I have had the pleasure to have been guided through my ten years by wonderful teachers, administrators, and staff.  Bsihop McVinney School has helped us to become peacemakers, to trust in God, love one another, and respect differences.  Our teachers have provided us with a quality education.  Our school has welcomed and treated us in such a way that we always knew we were the children of God.  As we set forth on life's journey, I want to wish you all the best as you continue your own journey at Bishop McVinney School.
Sincerely, Somali DaSilva ~ Class of 2008

I am the mother of four students at Bishop McVinney.  I would like to share my thoughts about the quality of academic and religious education our children are receiving at Bishop McVinney School.  My desire is that my children receive a sound academic education, grounded in the basic subjects of reading, writing, and math, as well as science and art.  However, I also wanted them to have an opportunity to strengthen their religious faith and build the values and character they will need to succeed in the world today.  Bishop McVinney School provides a safe, nurturing environment in which the young students are able to discover who they are and what they want to be in the future.  Many of them have been here since pre-k and kindergarten, and are now graduating to attend such quality high schools as Classical, LaSalle, St. Paphael Academy and Bayview Academy.  I believe that my children will have the same opportunities and successful pathway to their graduation as well, and encourage you to see Bishop McVinney School as your child's extended family and second home.  Please know that we as parents, as well as the teachers and Mr. Hebert, the principal, are all here to welcome and support you and your children through their educational and religious journey with us.
~Sincerely, Ericka Cummings ~ mother of Jalen, Darnell, Niah & Kazre
